My muse has left me,
it has gone on vacation.
I have searched high and low,
but could not find my muse.
My muse has always been with me,
but now it is gone, and I can’t find it anywhere.
I can’t write anything.
So, what is to become of me now?
Do I just talk to the birds and the bees?
Do I just roam the gardens and pick the flowers?
Do you want to know what the birds and the bees say to me,
when I asked them if the money is for free?
Well… They said to me, “Sandie, not really, not really!
It was only in a Beatles’ song that money is free,
to give to the birds and the bees.”
And then I answered, “Oh, really? Really?
Then, what should I do now when I can’t find my muse?”
Then… They made me an offer that I can’t refuse.
“Sandie, Sandie, You have to smile and be carefree,
then you muse will return to you one day, you’ll see.”
So I bid the birds and the bees goodbye;
the flowers were so happy they let out a sigh.
I jumped around like a little girl with glee,
just for being me, and to be as happy as can be!!!
